Hi I am currently an LPN nursing students taking fundamentals. I took my first test an got a 68, which is not like me. after going over the test with my professor, when she broke the questions down for me and showed me what parts of the questions to take out, I knew thats answers very quickly. so my professor suggests that I answer as many questions as I can to get my critical thinking skills up and learn how to remove the "fluffA" out of the questions. Does anyone have any free or cheap apps for android that can give me practice questions so I can study on the go? or any special tips?

Try some of the NCLEX review apps or get a good NCLEX review book that includes rationale of answers.

I use Mosby's NCLEX-PN review for Android. It will give you NCLEX style case scenarios/questions. You'll need to think critically and remove the fluff for those. If you type in "nurse" in the search bar of Google play you will get lots of good nursing apps, some free and some not. Good luck!

im not sure what type of learner u are but im not big on reading much... (sad but true)! i watch mosby videos and youtube also i listen to it over and over again to see how to do things and walk myself through it!! i also practice perfoming the act as well.. the nclex study guides are a life saver.. remember critical thinking you use daily... its just about doing the action that makes the most sense!!! hopefully this helps and peace be unto you!!
