Another Palm question

  1. Hi everyone! I love my palm and the epocrates program, but feel like there has to be more out there. Does anyone know of anything else I can buy off the web? I'm looking for something more anesthesia based. Thanks!

Sota Omuigui (you may want to check the spelling on that last name) has an anesthesia drug handbook (paperback and also one for PDA's). I am not yet in clinicals but I have heard that it was a good tool to have. It is definitely Anesthesia based......

That anesthesia drug handbook is fantastic, best purchase I've made for the palm. Also get 5 Minute Clinical Consult, Medcalc, Riley Kidometer, Barash's Clinical Anesthesia is also available but I happen to like the paperbach handbook far better than the palm version of the same. I have both and never look at the PDA version.

I know this has been talked about before, but i am getting ready to start clinicals this month and am looking at buying a palm based PDA. I have an old IPAQ, but do not like the fact that I can't get many free programs. I am currently looking at the new sony cleo t27 ( digital cam.) I usually don't care for those type of extras , but I have never had a dig. camera and think this may be a good time to try one out. The t27 is only 22.oo more dollars than the sony t25 and the t27 has double the RAM 32. Any input would be appreciated, since I am by no means a computer whiz.
