    I have an iPhone 4S, but was thinking of getting the Samsung note 2 and was wondering if all the great apps you guys mentioned are on android too????

    There is a lot of duplication of apps nowadays iOS android. If you have a specific app in mind, I can look it up. Also, the Amazon app store is a good place to lookup apps if you don't have access to the Googleapp store.

    I have the original Galaxy Note, Android v.4.04. The best apps out there are free, from Skyscape and Medscape. Look them up on Google's App store.
