advice on getting hired as a PCA at St. Johns or MoBap in St. Louis, MO

I am a prenursing student and eager to get into the field. Both St. Johns Mercy and Missouri Baptist in St. Louis, Mo hire for a Patient Care Associate/Technician at entry level and have on site training. I have been applying online for quite a while now, and never hear anything back. When you call HR they just instruct you to go online. Any advice or help on getting hired at either of these places?
