    New excelsior college student here for the asn. how is it going for those that graduated are you working now and how difficult was it to find a job? are there certain hospitals that will/won't hire excelsior grads? i'm currently working as an lpn in ltc rehab and agency. when i graduate from EC i'm hoping to land a job with a hospital before moving on to another state in about 2 yrs.

    I finished Excelsior in November 2004. I didn't have any problem finding a job. I started working at Barnes in the ER in January 2005. BJC paid from my BSN through Goldfarb and I'm now in an FNP program. I still work for BJC (but in a different ER). Good luck...you can do it!!

    Thank you happynproud. it's so reassuring when i hear about those in our area that graduated from excelsior finding jobs. to be honest, i didn't think a place like barnes hospital would give an EC grad a second look. wow that is wonderful.
