    Anyone starting the nursing program this Spring at William Carey?!? I am moving to Hattiesburg from out of state to attend so Im hoping to meet a few people before we start

    Have you received your acceptance letter? If so when because I was under the impression that it would be the end of this week or next.

    Yes. I wasn't expecting to hear anything till next week but I received my acceptance letter on Monday. Hopefully you will hear something soon!

    Was not for me but for my wife. She was told that they were mailed out on Wed. Today she called and was told over the phone she was accepted for the fast track 18 month BSN program (she is a transfer student). She said it starts Nov 9th. When I went through nursing school, I was informed nearly a semester in advance, so this really seemed odd. Congrats on acceptance. Are you going to Hattiesburg or the one near the coast?

    Thanks and congrats to your wife as well. I am doing the fast track as well! I agree, I wish we had been given more notice. I am moving from TN so the short notice is not ideal but I am grateful to have been accepted! I will be attending the Hattiesburg campus. What campus will your wife be at?

    Congratulations! I am currently a Level 2 student in the William Carey's BSN program at the Hattiesburg Campus! I am sure you will love our program - the professors are so nice and so are the fellow classmates!

    Would y'all mind giving an update on how you like Carey once you start? I applied to University of Memphis and did not get in :-(. I'm moving to New Orleans in January and I think I'm going to apply for William Carey's New Orleans campus but I would like to know ahead of time if I really have a chance at getting in.

    I applied to the University of Memphis as well but didn't get in either!! My friend is currently in the program at U Of M so I hear all the horror stories and honestly I think we dodged a bullet; they don't seem to be very organized. I'll let you know what I think about William Carey. I'll be attending the Hattiesburg campus though.. Not sure how different it will be from the campus you're planning to attend.
