I don't have any personal experience obviously, but my sister in law worked in New Orleans earlier this year on a travel assignment for 13 weeks and said that it was the worst experience she had ever had. She said the hospital was total chaos. I can't mention the hospital name, but if you are thinking of going to NO, then definitely do your homework on the hospitals. -

Very high acuity in ICU and CCU, but great experience. The worst thing is packing up to go over there for a few days, and get cancelled ALOT! Haven't worked there in about a month because of cancellations.
