    So I just got accepted into the University of Minnesota Rochester. The school is small from what I have read. Can anyone just give me some information about the school? I have gotten accepted into another school that is 2 years, but here it is 3 years. I just want to know if it is worth the extra year here to be able to do some clinicals at the Mayo clinic.

    I didn't even know there was a U of M Roch.

    If you can afford it, I would DEFINITELY go to U of M. Heck, with the economy the way it is and improving you are probably better off waiting an additional year.

    Are you sure you will do clinicals at Mayo?

    You are right, the class sizes are small. Each class is 30 students in Rochester, 100 on the T.C. campus. We attend class 1 or 2 days a week on campus over ITV (the profs are in the cities and we connect to them via webcam they are able to interact with us during lectures). Also all of your clinical rotations will be at Mayo Clinic in rochester.
    your first year you will not have clinical, instead you will have a laboratory class to learn basic skills. It is a good program if you are able to structure your time and keep up with the online courses. The small class sizes in Rochester are great for getting to know your classmates and collaborating on projects.

    can i ask? what was your GPA? and also what other nursing school did you get accepted that is two year program?
