    Since the application process this year was all online, maybe we'll just get an email instead?

    Looking at the thread from last year it appears they did both. The letter went out first and then a few days later the emails.I don't recall the details but maybe only the people accepted got letters??I would imagine, like a job offer, the people accepted would receive a letter in the mail. But who knows.

    From my understanding last year the application was not online. If you look at the previous threads people that did not get accepted still got letters. So I believe we will all still get letters regardless. Best of luck coonkine! Hope this helps you out. We should be getting our letters of "Acceptance" (hopefully) soon.

    I'm a new member, and just found this thread.
    Yup, I'm another applicant that is biting my fingernails waiting!

    Where did you see/hear that they got 1,000 applications?

    When Mayo came and talked to my Nursing school they told us that about a 1000 applications come in and they take about a 100 of them.

    I applied to 2 other hospitals in the Twin Cities, already interviewed at one and got another interview coming up Feb 15th. But I really really want this Mayo Internship. So nervous!!!

    Hey Everyone,
    I called Mayo today just to see when we'll hear back exactly. They said if you do get accepted then you'll recieve a packet in the mail and if you get denied then you recieve an email. Packets will be sent out sometime next week!
    Let's hope we all get letters!
