Concordia College Accelerated Nursing Program... 2nd Major?

I spoke with Concordia College today regarding their accelerated nursing program. At some point it came out that the accelerated program didn't confer and BSN. I was told the program would give me a second major in nursing.

I was a little confused by the definition, so I asked some more questions. All I could really understand is, because I have a bachelors degree I would not be getting a second one. I would have a second major, and that would allow me to test to become an RN.

I don't understand what a second major is, if it isn't conferring a BSN. Is this a regional thing? Wouldn't not having a BSN hurt my chances of going back for a masters?
