I work up in Duluth at St. Mary's and have worked with LSC students. It seems to be a good ADN school. I would however, only suggest an ADN degree verses a BSN if you are planning on getting your BSN right afterwards. While most places are still hiring ADNs, some -like the Allina hospitals in the cities- are phasing out ADNs & only hiring BSNs. I believe that part of magnet stasus (which all MN hospitals are striving for, other that St. Cloud & Mayo which already have it) is dependent on your ratio or percentage of BSNs. Because of this, to ensure many future career options I highly suggest getting your BSN ASAP!
