Agency nursing in mn
- 0May 16, '11 by sandie2Hi all,
I recently moved here to MN. I have a BSN and has almost 10 yrs of experience in med-surg, telemetry. For some reason still I couldn't get a job yet. So decided to start with the agency nursing so that I can get my foot in the door. I would like to know how much the hospitals pay for experienced agency RNs on a med-surg, tele floors. Please help....
Is there anybody out there doing agency nursing in Minneapolis, st.paul area?

Some of the agencies up here have contracts with the hospitals which have language that states if the nurse worked for the agency first, then the hospital will have to pay a large fee to the agency if the nurse becomes a regular hospital employee which of course the hospital does not want to do. Just another FYI.
