1 year vs 2 year LPN programs

  1. 0 I had always thought that there were mostly 1 yr LPN programs until I met a few different people who got their 2 yr LPN degrees all from different schools and now it seems like there are more 2 yr programs than there are 1. Anyone know how many of each there are in Minnesota?

Off the top of my head, here in Minneapolis/St. Paul, they are:

    MCTC (my school)
    Anoka/Ramsey CC
    North Hennepin CC
    Normandale CC
    And (I think) Century College

Anoka Tech (When I went there) was a three semester program. They've since changed it, and I believe its now a 2-year program.

    Good luck!

Also there is Hennepin Technical College with campuses in Eden Prairie and Brooklyn Park.

When I had gone to school, Alexandria Tech's course was a 1 year program. (10.5 months to be exact)
