I did clinicals in St. Cloud (and just got hired as a new grad there on the ortho/neuro floor :hatparty: As far as what to do over the summer....enjoy your summer off!!! It's very hard to do anything to get ahead on. Maybe review your anatomy stuff as that is an important component of disease process etc.
The first month you will feel totally bombarded by information, try not to panic

We all felt that way and we survived. As far as managing time, the best thing is to NOT GET BEHIND, it is very hard to catch up and since most of the stuff you will need to know and be tested on is how you understand things, not just memorization, it is almost impossible to do it all right before the test. And just remember, one step, one day, one project at a time.
Also, make a good friend. There will be times you want to throw in the towel and it helps to have someone who understands to lean on.
The first semester there are only a couple of clinical weekends, most are on campus so you will start at 0800 and most of the time be done by 3. But try not to worry about that yet, enjoy the satisfaction and fulfillment of accomplishing just getting it!!
Sorry about what you are going through, I went through alot of personal tragedy and stress during the program myself (we can talk about that later if you want) but it is possible if you want it bad enough!!
