which one do you use in your cvicu?

  1. What do you usually use in a cvicu(open heart)?

    central lines?
    PA(swan-ganz)?
    a-lines?
    CVVH?
    chest tubes?
    Bloon pump?
    intubation?

    thanks,

    In our CCU we use:
    arterial lines
    central lines/swans (without CCO)
    Chest Tubes
    Intubation
This top section is standard on all of our surgery patients.

CVVH, IABPs and VADs are obviously used only when necessary.

I haven't been a lot of places, but these seem pretty standard--why do you ask??

All of the above in the present and all + VADS in the previous one.

Agree with zambezi post. Everything above is standard for cvicu. Why do you ask?
