Clinical practice in post-op

Hi! I have a friend, who would like to have her 6 week clinical practice in a post-op in New York.
First of all, she needs to find a post-op, does any of you work in one? Perhaps you could help with establishing contact?

Some bonus info: She comes from Denmark and is currently training to become a critical care nurse. As a part of the training you have a mandatory period of 6 weeks in a post-op. It is the DANISH goals for the clinical practice that she needs to pass, but it is her responsibility to have them translated etc. etc.
It is New York that she is interested in.

Anyway, this thread is just because I would try to help establish that contact.
