Is there anyone else on here who is waiting for a response from WCCCD's nursing department? I applied June 30, and am going slightly crazy waiting for my acceptance/denial e-mail! Let's get to know each other, hopefully we'll be classmates!

Or you are still not feeling confident about the 3.8=60 pts you could always be super annoying like I am and call the nursing dept again LOL!

Yes you get 60 points for that gpa. I am 100% positive 3.8 is 60 points. I am a stay at home mom so I know what you mean about too much googling, lurking, and too much time on our hands. COngrats on the new baby! :yelclap: When are you due?

I feel fine with that. I was on the computer while my son was getting ready for school and I freaked out when I saw that someone said that about the GPA. I want as many points as possible to make up for not have health care license or getting 10 points for have completing all classes at WCCC. I took 1 class at MCC but all of my classes are completed.

I really appreciate you being a stay at home mom to be able to respond so quickly.

I feel fine with that. I was on the computer while my son was getting ready for school and I freaked out when I saw that someone said that about the GPA. I want as many points as possible to make up for not have health care license or getting 10 points for have completing all classes at WCCC. I took 1 class at MCC but all of my classes are completed.

My sister in law has an 11 yr old and an 11 month old right now and her 11yr old helps so much. But her 11 year old is a girl and most boys aren't into helping out as much as a girl I am sure. But at least when you have them far apart like that you can give a lot of your attention to the baby since your 11 year is probably independent (assuming of course). I also took all but 1 class at WCCCD. And thanks for the pic compliment, I am VERY PRO-OBAMA.

How are you feeling? I am sure you are getting to the 'feeling crappy everyday phase' of your pregnancy. I felt terrible in my third trimester with my son but with my two girls I felt amazing everyday. What are you having?

I'm having another boy. My doctor has taken me off work because I started having contractions at 5

1/2 months. I have them on a daily basis. My son had a hard time at first being that he was my only one for a long time, but he seems to be coming around. He practices with my niece and nephew.

I'm sure my pregnancy has something to do with me freaking out about waiting for this letter. I'd promised myself I wouldn't go crazy while waiting for this letter after reading the schools history of this on the other threads. But it happened. I'm ready to call the school again to make sure the letters were really sent out.

I am sure your son will love having a baby brother. I never had to go through having to get my current child used to the new baby thing as I had all of mine close together, so they were all babies themselves. I had 3 in diapers at one point so I think the whole waiting 11 years really isn't such a bad idea.

I am glad to hear your doc took you off work. Relax, take it easy and I know it's easier said than done but try not to stress about getting in the program. The letter will be here eventually. And again congratulations on your baby boy :D

CONGRATULATIONS!!! I am so glad to hear I will receive my letter soon. But now for some reason I am more nervous than ever.

Do you mind telling us your gpa and teas scores so we can have an idea if we have a chance?

Thanks yeah I had 3.81gpa(60pts), teas math 60%(4pts) reading73%(6pts) all classes wcccd(10pts). Only coreq I had was patho which i got an A, dunno if they gave me any pts for that but I added up 80pts. The letter itself didnt indicate what my pt total was or what the cut-off is.
