Does anyone know someone already in the program? If so are they able to work? My job is not flexable ay all, so if I do get in I may have to find somethign else. Anyone have any suggestions?

I know a few people, they are able to work weekends for now.

So, I finally broke down and called the nursing department today. The lady on the phone told me they were aiming to mail the letters out by the end of this week.

I thought the letters had already been mailed out. Seems like we wont be getting them until some time in September

A friend called today and was told the letters will be mailed out either tomorrow or friday. So we may receive a letter saturday or maybe tues-wed due to the holiday. I heard last year they were unable to mail the letters out all at once so some of us may receive a letter sooner than others. Good luck everyone! I will be so happy to no longer be stuck in the pre-nursing school phase of my life.

I'm in the program now (1st semester) and you most likely won't be able to do much more than work the weekends...and you'll pick your classes through a lottery so you don't even get your schedule until 5 days before school...

Thank you ShanayJ and congratulations.

By the looks of that schedule, I know I won't be able to work at my job. I work 8:30-4:30 and no weekends. I've been trying to think of ways to get unemployment ;) but I'm a really good worker and I have great attendance. They would never get rid of me.

On a side note....I don't understand the nursing department. If someone called them on Wednesday, how can they not know if the letters are going to be mailed on Thursday or Friday. Maybe that means 2 sets of letter were going out.
