Is there anyone else on here who is waiting for a response from WCCCD's nursing department? I applied June 30, and am going slightly crazy waiting for my acceptance/denial e-mail! Let's get to know each other, hopefully we'll be classmates!

Is hsc 100 Medical Math? If you look under Allied Heath 105 medical math is listed and there are two online classes listed for the Spring semester plus a Wednesday night class.

If you were not in the program, you can take hsc100 in the summer. But if you are in the program, you need to do Hsc 100 to be able to progress to the next 7.5 weeks.

HSC 100 Medical Measurements and Math is actually a different course than ALH 105 Medical Math. HSC 100 is what is required. HSC isn't offered in the summer or online.

Any one get the ace email?

I called the Nursing Dept and they said the email wasn't sent yet and should be in our inbox within 3 weeks.

Anyone have any shoe reccomendations? I am thinking I might buy some Nike Shox. I do think those shoes are hideous but I hear they are really comfy.

Thank you, I did not know that and I was going to register for ALH 105 for this semester to get that out of the way. Math is not my strong point so is it a good idea to take it anyway? I was hoping to brush up on math for the Teas. I'm nervous about the math part of the test.

No problem :) If I were you I would take basic Pre-Algebra if you really think you need it. There isn't any Medical Math on the Teas and I can tell you the ATI Study Guide is almost exactly like the TEAS. And also to be honest with you the TEAS isn't bad at all. The Math is all basic Pre-Algebra and the ATI study guide explains the formulas really well. You Tube helped me a lot too and I haven't has a math class in ten years (since high school).

Thanks again! I just bought the ATI study guide and I took the pre-algerbra last year so I will study the problems in the text book as well.

Thanks to all of you for all the helpful information! Good luck to everyone that is already in the program! I am assuming you all start next week, exciting! I so hope I will be starting this time next year.

The medical math you need for the program is under Health Sciences.

I still can't believe we are starting this coming week. I am sooooo stressed/nervous/excited over this I haven't been sleeping good at all. Good luck to everyone on here :) I feel like we have spent the year here going though the anxiety of applying and waiting and wish you all the best. PLEASE KEEP IN TOUCH!!!
