U.S.A. Michigan

Published

Is there anyone else on here who is waiting for a response from WCCCD's nursing department? I applied June 30, and am going slightly crazy waiting for my acceptance/denial e-mail! Let's get to know each other, hopefully we'll be classmates!

Can you please share the info got the BLT at DMC. Thanks

Here is the BLT information. DRH - Services - Nursing - Nursing Education. Don't mind the cost and the dates. I e-mailed the persons name on the site and told her I was interested in the course. I started the on-,line portion on Sunday and completed yesterday. You'll have to go in to complete part 2, which I did today and I received my card.

I sent you a PM

Thank you

can we get some details about what the first semester is going to be like??

I'm searching for a place to have the 10 panel drug test done as well as all of the other lab services... I'm not insured anymore as of two weeks ago, so I have to find a way to pay for everything myself befor orientation. Has found any inexpensive places? Plz share details if you have. Thanks, and good luck again every1.

I think St John is going to be the most inexpensive that you'll find. I would also see if Herman Kiefer can offer anything.

Herman and Keifer does the MMR shots, TDap, and Hepatitis B shots for free.

Congratulations to all who made it into WCCCD RN Program!!!

The next 2 years will be the best and worst times of your life.

You will meet so many different people and learn so much information.

STUDY, STUDY, STUDY!!!

WCCCD's program is challenging but the more you the study, the well prepared you will be

Time will fly as classes are only 7.5 weeks and thats both good and bad. You will feel so much

information is coming at you so fast, but just keep going!! Aim to PASS (a C is all you need)!

good luck to all

Thanks Kadambari! I figured they did. I tried to call but I couldn't get anyone on the phone. I've been trying to do some research to see if I could get the immunizations while I'm pregnant. I've been getting contradicting information.

Congratulations to you! I think I speak for everyone on here when I say we really appreciate your encouraging words. I've heard negative things also by reading some of the threads. I figure it's what you make of it.

For everyone:

Something sticks in my head that my middle school teacher use to say, "I Have Mine"! I know that's not something for a teacher to say to students, but I've always used it when I ran into a difficult teacher, professor or faculty member. I know the faculty isn't the best to deal with at WCCC, but we have to remember they have theirs and we're trying to get ours. Good luck everyone and I'm really looking forward to meeting everyone at orientation.
