Searching for Fall 2013 Baker College Owosso applicants

Hello! I see so many posts on here of people from the same school connecting. I was hoping to do the same thing. I am looking for other students who applied for the Fall 2013 nursing program at Baker College in Owosso, Michigan. I took my Kaplan today and am beyond excited to hear if I got in or not. It would be nice to share experiences, get to know each other a little, and form a support group before classes even start.

Hello!

I was just recently accepted into the nursing program for the fall for baker college of Owosso and I was curious if anyone knew if it was possible to maintain a job while in the program. I would only be working like 10-15 hours a week but I dont want to do anything that will hurt me into the program. I was wondering if anyone else was planning on working or knew anyone from the program that was able to maintain a job at baker college of owosso's ADN nursing program. Anything would help! Congrats!!! I personally do not plan to work. I have a friend who is in the program one semester ahead of us. She doesn't work and says she is so busy all of the time. The paperwork from baker says they recommend not working if possible. But really it's up to you and how much you can handle. I have 2 kids and a husband who is currently deployed 6 months a year so I already have a lot on my plate. But if you really need the $ it's worth a shot and if it proves to be too much then quit. Or take a break from work for a couple weeks until you settle into the nursing school routine then ease back into work.

Hello. I applied for the spring quarter at baker college of Owosso. I will find out some time next week wether or not I get in. From what my advisor told me, I should feel very optimistic about getting into the program. I was wondering what kind of things I can prepare myself for purchasing during my first quarter or if there is anything anyone would recommend I do to prepare myself. From what Ive heard its pretty rough.
