I did but was looking for info from an insider that was in or graduated from the program
Well...let me tell you...it's difficult to compare cause it's the only program I know, but if you're looking for knowledge you can use, well, let me just tell you our clinicals consisted of one day a week and that usually translated into 4 hours of actual patient contact...no meds, of course...or rarely. Lots of emphasis on "community", in fact you'd better learn how to insert the word "community" into every one of your papers, and there are lots of those. Wrote a few papers on spirituality, too, that's useful :chuckle I have come to find out that most BSN programs are heavy on papers and light on practical things that you can use. I gotta say, though, it felt like a very small place cause the classes were usually 15-20 people (no napping allowed) and frankly if it weren't for my three very close buds, I woulda left outta there screaming all the way. The fulltime program is completely geared for the daytime, so you pretty much give up whatever else it is you are doing during the week, cause you are really busy!!!!!!!!!
Well, let me know if you have any other questions, I just sort of rambled on...
