I have yet another silly question.. I start in Jan and just got the letter from MCC, asking if people currently work in hospitals, or weekend prefrences, does that mean clinicals can be done on weekends?

I called ------------ about that letter we recieved and she said that they have some accomodations for those who need Saturdays due to special accomodations. She also said that it is not always available for every semester. I think that the first semester have some flexibility but the other semester has two full days of clinicals which is not usually available on a Saturday.

FYI for January starts - we can pick up our class syllabus now. I know the letter said two weeks before the start of class but I know the office will be on limited hours after the fall semester ends so you may want to go soon

Did you actually get them? Or did you hear by word of mouth?
Also, any idea how much all the books are? And if I'm better off getting them from the bookstore (easier) or the bookmark (cheaper)?

I went there today and got them. It's a huge stack of papers. I also bought my books today. I only bought the ones I knew we were going to use from someone else in the program and my total was $578.00 :/ This was buying books only, not the lab supplies, etc. I never did check Bookmark because I wasn't sure if the bundles you could only get at MCC Bookstore. They always seems around the same in price anyways, at least for new books. I've had a heck of a time finding a used book for any class lately!

Just FYI the bookstore is closing Dec 21 - Jan 2 for the holiday.

I don't think there is much supplies, is there? Just the lab pack right? I've got a pen light, stethoscope and bandage scissors

Ok. Not much else that I have to get.

Around the 17th we should be receiving an email & letter with our schedules to register!
