Macomb Community College - 2012 HESI

Well, another year means another time for more score updates. I am getting ready to take my HESI in a couple weeks to apply for the 2012 Nursing Program and I must say I am really beginning to get nervous! Thanks to their recent addition of HHSC-1040 (right before I was apply :banghead:) I am just curious how everyone did, and what was it like this year? I have no clue what to expect and I have been searching forever. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am really not worried about the Math or Grammar sections. I'm more worried about the Vocabulary, Reading, and A&P section that they added. Any advice would be great. I already have the Evolve HESI book that I have been reviewing from for the past couple of months. I'm still just really nervous.

I don't have a HESI score yet, but my GPA to apply for the program is: 3.925.

Again, any advice would be grand!

Can't wait! Ready to figure out what I need to do next lol I found the University Center yesterday, it's WAY in the back, you can see Henry Ford Hospital from back there. I wonder which building it is thought because there was UC1-UC4.

Hopefully some of the alternates will get their letters since the deadline was yesterday :fingerscrossed:

I think I won't start the program till January, but will probably need a roommate by this summer...

Can't wait! Ready to figure out what I need to do next lol I found the University Center yesterday, it's WAY in the back, you can see Henry Ford Hospital from back there. I wonder which building it is thought because there was UC1-UC4.

Trust me I am on the lookout for the letter. I did try to call yesterday just to see if I could get anywhere and I got a BIG NOPE but I was hoping. I will let you know if I hear anything but I am 10th so I hope any alternates ahead of me will post on here too. Thanks for thinking about us alternates :)

How do they notify you if you are on the alt list and you are able to fill a spot? Letter or phone call? I got my letter and I am #37 on waitlist. I am thinking if a handful don't put their deposit down or don't go to the meeting I will stand a decent chance. Can I call sometime after the 21st and see where I stand on the waitlist?

I'm pretty sure you get a letter offering you admission to the program.

They always seem pretty hesitant to give any info over the phone so maybe if you go in they'll tell you that way.

Still hoping to receive a letter saying that I have been offered a spot in the program! I assumed that after the $100 deadline, that MCC would at least let out a count of how many people paid, but so far I have heard nothing. I called this past Friday and neither person that I was connected to had any information on when or how alternates would be contacted. I suppose that all of us alternates will just have to wait in limbo for a little bit longer. We'll see what happens at the meeting on the 16th!
