I just graduated from OCC TPN program and I am ready to start practicing as an RN. I am more nervous about taking the NCLEX exam then I am about working. Any tips on what review books to purchase, and should I take a reveiw class.
Study how you normally study. If you usually make flash cards, make flash cards. If you normally study with a friend, do that.
You should already have your knowledge base from school. Most people need to learn how to take the exam. Do many practice questions. Do them over and over and read the rationales for the answers. Don't over do it, take time to have fun. and don't wait for months to test, people who wait more than a month or two tend to do worse. Saunders is a popular book.
