Wccd application meeting

Hi Jabraham, I attended another information meeting on September 10th. The entire application process has completely changed. You will beed 12 credits hours at WCCCD if you are a transfer students for January admission and in the future. They changed this because students who attended WCCCD complained about the open door policy. They have also changed deadline dates and so forth. Now you must have a 59 on the reading portion of your NET test, and 2.8 GPA in pre-Req's courses to even be considered for the program. The Fall 2009 application deadline is February 26th and for January 2010 is June 30th. Admission for Fall 2009 will be based on a 100 point scale depending on NET scores, GPA in Pre-req's, completion of Co-req's, previous medical experience, essay and reference letters. This changed was approved by the Michigan Board of Nursing. Hope this helps feel free to contact me. But make sure you attend a meeting yourself.
