I was told 12-18 months for HFCC but it could be longer now since that was dec.

I was told two years for the Schoolcraft waiting list. A friend of mine was on it for exactly two years. I've heard that some people were told two years but got in after a year or so, due to people switching schools or not being ready to start the program.

I know someone who got on the waitlist last Dec and they're in my class now at HFCC. Also, HFCC has an accreditation that Schoolcraft does not have. Veteran's hospitals will not hire a nurse that did not go to a school with this accreditation: NLNAC

mybrowneyedgirl,
Guess I'm confused, Veteran's Hospital will not hire a grad that is not from a "NLNAC" accredited program. I looked at the listed and did not see the University of Michigan, Eastern Michigan, Madonna University, UD Mercy and many more. So all those grads are excluded from working at the Vets Hospital? That sounds crazy....just what is special about the "NLNAC"?

Basketcase,
I think that's only referring to an associates degree. I'm not sure, but our professors stated this on the first day.
