SW Michigan CNA classes

by sunnym

Hi I'm looking for classes for my CNA so I can remain in the field and possibly work weekednds while I go to school. Is any one from around here?
Where did you go? And how do/did youlike it?

...are you in the Benton Harbor/St. Joseph area? Call Lakeland Regional Health, I think they have CNA classes. Some nursing homes offer CNA classes as well. Take care.

Anyone work as a CNA in Lapeer, Oakland or Macomb Counties. I am thinking about taking CNA classes while waiting for admittance into an ADN or BSN program, however, I have a non "medical/health" related occupation right now that is VERY flexible and understanding with my school, financial, personal, family extracurricular life outside of work. They work great around my schedule. I was wondering if there is anyone who works as a CNA around the above locations and could give me a word of advice or say yeh or neh to sticking with my job, or moving on for some experience and perhaps would still have the flexible schedule. Oh and by the way, any chance at making more than 11.00 per hour as a CNA somewhere?

...call Lake View Hospital and see if they offer the CNA class. Any nursing homes nearby? Lakeland is off exit 30 on I-94, and a few miles from the exit. Let us know what you find.
