St. John health hospice inpatient team

I was wondering is there anyone that works for St. John health hospice team michigan? I would love to become a hospice nurse but it seems that all companies want at least a year of experience. I was wondering how was it working for St. John health hospice inpatient team, was the pay hourly or salary, do they pay for mileage, do you travel to all of their locations and was is the patient load? This would be very helpful for me to know because I am new to this and I at least want to know the norm for this type of position.
