Second Career Nursing Univ of Michigan

Applied in August, and still have not heard a word! I call like once a week and no one knows anything. They just keep saying they are looking at the applications and are backed up…

Seems crazy that they have not sent out letters. When I talked to them about a week ago they said they had not told anyone anything...hope to know soon so I can get on with it.

In 2006, I had heard by Christmas. Strange that it's taking so long, but when I graduated, they had cut the position that was the Second Career program liason and I also heard that they were establishing a waitlist, in addition to supposedly starting rolling admissions. I wish you the best of luck, and if you don't get in this time, try again next year. Took me two tries.

No I have not heard a word. I am not sure what is going on. Last time I talked to them they said they have not told anyone yet...
I did get into MSU and I could start there in May and would not have to take biochem...

Where did you guys take your prereq's? And how many people does UofM Nursing allow in each semester?

I did mine at Michigan State, they are similar to the ones I needed for States Program that I was trying to get into. UofM's web page will let you know all of the courses you need.

Talked with someone from UofM and they told me that they have been meeting and letting people know...
