Re: RN-BSN Completion Programs
Braya -
I have been looking at U-M Flint based on your posts, and it sounds like a good program.
One of the problems I am having with some of the other programs are the specific general pre-reqs they require; I already have a BS degree in Computer Science, and more credits than I care to admit, but I never took a Literature class or an American Government class or a Philosophy class - those specifics were not required for me at that time, and I sure don't want to do that now...
It looks like U-M Flint is more general in terms of Humanities, Social Sciences, etc. Did you find that to be true? I'd really like to find a program where I could use my previous credits and jump right in with the nursing stuff!
Can you tell me how the admissions process went? Do you have to see a counselor to tell you specifically which classes they will take?
I would also like to have another degree from the University of Michigan; I think that would be pretty cool...
Thanks in advance...
