Re: Phi Theta Kappa
PTK is the International Honor Society for 2 year colleges. When you join, you are being recognized for your outstanding achievement in academics, (yes, I am a member, 4.0). You get nominated to the National Dean's List, you become eligible for member only transfer scholarships, etc. If you go to the meeting they will tell you everything that I just did and more. There is an induction ceremony, you get to wear a gold scarf & tassle (depending on the college you attend) at graduation to set you appart. It's more or less a recognition of how hard you worked for the grades that you earned. I am very proud of myself, you should be too.
