Online A&P @ HFCC

by logique

I was wondering if anyone has taken A&P online at HFCC. I know HFCC has offered A&PI online in the past and are offering A&PII online this fall. Any details about how the class is organized and how you do lab online?? Thank you

Well unfortunately I can't offer you any info on this subject other than, I would NEVER take A&P online. I do have a few friends who are going to take it in the fall and I think they are CRAZY!!!! It's just a lot of info to take in and I just wouldn't have the courage or discipline to do it online. BUT I do wish you the best of luck. Let us know how it goes

Someone in my 234 class took her 233 online and said she wished she didn't.There was a ton of info she missed through it. I don't see how you can learn the stuff online when a lot of people have trouble with the subject matter in class. There are some classes that are better in person and I feel this is one.

I wouldn't recommend taking A&P online at all. It can be pretty in depth and you want to know and understand all material before you enter a nursing program and trust me they will expect you to know it. From all of the pre-reqs, A&P is the class that most students have the most difficultly with. I'm not saying that you couldn't learn from taking it online because you know your learning style best. But based on my experience from taking pharm online, it's not the same as taking it in the class.

I got an A in A&PI and online might be my only option for A&PII. I guess I am not looking for advice about whether or not to take it online...more so about what the class is like online if anyone has taken it at HFCC in that format

This fall is the first time I have seen it online. If you do I would definately get the book fluid & electrolytes made easy.It was very helpful in passing most of my tests this semester for a&p II.
