Hi everyone. I want to apply to OCC's ADN RN program this december. I know they allow you to take classes in the fall term even if htey end after the deadline and will apply it to this year.
Here's my question. I had a family situation in the summer which made me drop a couple of the nursing prereq's I was taking. I was able to get into all the classes I needed to for the fall and will be completed with the prereq's necessary by the end of the fall term, so I should be all set to apply. I am taking a lot of the courses at OCC, actually. I talked to a counselor and got an override on the number of credits I could take, and was allowed to take anatomy and physiology 1 and 2 at the sametime.
Here is my question...will the nursing program care that I am taking so many credits in one semester? I am taking six classes this semester! I know I'm insane but I'm not working at all and am studying like none other all semester and I'm a good student so I think I can do it but will the nursing program "be upset" or something because I took so many classes in one term?
Thanks!
