Hi Kate-
I has Sally for pharm. There are 4 tests and lots of short "discussion" papers. I thought the class was very fair. Hope that helps.

Hi kale1, I also have pharm with Sally this semester. After patho I was freaking out when I read the syllabus & saw the assignments -- like 8 chapters in the first module! But the chapters are short and to-the-point. The reading goes fast and we don't take the test for about 2 weeks.

Hi MInurse2b2010,
I was getting stressed out as my book did not come until yesterday. it's good the first quiz is not due until the 20th. when do you start your clinicals? i don't have a start date yet. i screwed up last summer when i missed to take a philosophy class i had initially signed up for. now i have to wait till match -per Kristina -for the next round of interviews. don't even know if i can get into the winter cohort?????GGGGGGGGGGGGGRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!
What am i going to do for all those months? i might as well start making plans to travel to Africa since. anyways i'll wait and see.

Hi kale1, I start Sept. '09. Taking my last requirements... As to what to do, I don't know your situation, but I took a job as CNA since I'm new to healthcare. Travel sounds really good to me, but alas I can't afford it! Good luck in the reading!

Hey,

I just applied to the accelerated bsn program at Oakland for May 2010. Anyone else out there applying? Does anyone know how long I'll have to wait before an interview?

Thanks

I know you posted this awhile ago, but my two cents is the program is well worth it. It's hard as crud and full of stress, but I am thankful every day that I went through it. I would reccomend it to anyone who is commited to the experience. Good luck to you!!!
