Oakland Students


Hi Guys,
How is it going? finished patho for this semester yet? pharma?
Hey i need infor from those who had Sallie this sem. for pharma. i am signed up for the winter and needed to know about the text and your overall impression of the class.
Hoping for feedback guys.

Kale1....Did you take the quiz for module 1? If you did do you have any pointers...thanks. I just got my book late this week since I was out of town over the holidays and without a computer I was unable to order the book. Any information would be great!

blue 1018, I would recommend that after you do the reading & study the PPT's, you use the disk that came with the book to review & take a look at the study guide questions, if you have the guide. I don't think it's required with our section of pharm. The study guide questions are comprehensive and cover points that are not emphasized in the reading. But the disk is a good review too.

I had Sallie last semester. I do not think you need to review the disk nor do you need the study guide for her class. She is very fair and she pretty much gives pointers with what you need to know. Her class is much more writting that text taking...

Thanks for the assistance...anything helps. I am going to read the rest of the chapters tonight and take the quiz tomorrow night...the reading doesn't seem too tough so far, so I will just have to be organized with my notes and ppts and remain calm.

I am sorry i have not logged on for several days now and just saw your post this late afternoon. I just did the quiz and because i had read the chapters i got the score that i got. i am the type that will read the text and do the quiz when i feel comfy. so how did you find it?
Again sorry i am responding late. been a tad bit busy with work and reading. keep me posted.

I got 2 wrong and I just wish I knew which two because I like to see why I chose the wrong answer. Maybe I will be able to access it later to look over my mistakes. I didn't think it was too hard, but it definitely made you think at times. I think if you do the reading, review the power points and have a decent understanding then it isn't too hard....good luck this semester!
