I took Nutrition at Mott and it was a lot of work for a 2 credit class. Sweeney must be a new instructor there. Good luck, you'll be fine!

When you took it did you have to pass with at least 80%? Are you a nursing student at Mott? How far along are you? I start clinicals in Fall of this year.

Yes, we had to pass with 80%. 80% was a 2.0.....they went by the nursing grading system. My professor was L. Borne. I'm starting the Nursing program at OCC in the Fall. Couldn't wait for Mott....their waiting list was way too long. I did almost all my pre-reqs there but transfered over to OCC. Congrats to you! How long were you on the waiting list? Have you taken Pharm yet? I'm doing that right now. I guess we are in the same boat huh? Good to know!

I heard that Bourne was a good professor, but she/he was not teaching the class this semester. I was on the waiting list for just about 4 years. I was skipped because I hadn't taken the Net yet. Yes, I have taken pharm and the only thing I have to take before clinicals is nutrition and the 1 credit multi-cultural class. I am taking both of those this Spring. I am already registered for my clinicals this Fall. I hope this Nutrition class isn't too much to take for the spring. So wish me luck, and keep me posted on how things are going for you.

You'll do fine in your Nutrition class. Since you have your A&P done it should be an easy class for you. The professor I had, we had a lot of reading and quiz every week. We also had to do a presentation at the end of the semester on a health topic of our choice. Did you find Pharm hard? I'm a little nervous....today was my first day in class and it seems like a lot of info to know. Yeah, let me know how things go with your Nutrition class and good luck......again you'll be fine....if you can survive Pharmacology you'll do great in your Nutrition class.

Well, Pharm is alot of information. Are you taking it at Mott? I heard the professor that teaches it is kinda....boring. I took it at Delta College and it transfered back to Mott. I was glad. I don't think I could have taken it again. The Nutrition class is alot like the one you took I think. We will have a quiz on every class and we have class twice a week. We do have a presentation to do also. I'm not excited about it, but I will make the best of it.
Good luck in Pharm it probably won't be as bad as you think. I don't think nobody can expect you to memorize all the drugs.
