Yeah, I mean like if you were taking a test. You would divide your score by the total possible.

The lowest score they took was a 94%! That is awesome. I mean, it is awesome that so many did that well. Not so awesome for me and you!

LOL

It is by the Michigan Board of Nursing, but not the National League for Nursing.

Which means that if they do get a BSN program, we won't be able to use the BS when attempting to get a master's. At least that was how it was explained to me. For me, that makes it basically useless, seeing as I really want and plan to pursue a master's degree in nursing.

Is MCC accredited by the NLN? Baker is right in the middle of the accreditation process from my understanding.

So wouldn't you divide the lowest score which was 22.6 by the total possible 25 points. That is 90.4%. Not that it matters but I would like to think I have a shot this time!!!!!!!!!

I only used 24 as the total possible, because only the people who are reapplying get that extra point. I was putting us in the same ballpark with the new applicants.

I haven't taken the NET at Baker yet, but I bought the study guide and I've been working through it when I have free time (which isn't often...).

I have the white NET guide that's kind of tiny in size, not the size of a normal book. Is that what you guys used? Any tips/tricks/advice? :/

Is it the one put out by ERI? That's who put out the test, and it is the one I used. Smallish book. The bigger one was a huge waste of my money.

Well, so much stuff in this thread made me login to state a couple things.

First things first, Baker College has four campus that have the Nursing Program, these are ran as independent from each other for the most part.
What might be true about the Flint Campus may not be the same exact policy for say the Clinton Township campus.

Second, Baker College of Clinton Township is not in the middle on the NLN accredition, whoever you heard that from they are wrong, plain and simple. You can go to the NLN's own website and see Baker's candidate status, it is far beyond the "middle"

Third, the exact entrance requirements at least at the Clinton Township location are right in the nursing office, everything is exactly spelled out as to how they give points for the acceptance process. One of the nursing faculty will sit down with you and go over all this, you merely have to call them.

Jeff, which campus are you at? Are you enjoying the program? I would love to hear about it.

Hey, I don't know, I was just passing on what I was told by a another student who told me that last week they had people observing their classes. I guess seeing as the work was started but not finished, the word "middle" can be subjective. I thought it was interesting that they were going through the process and wanted to share that with the other people here.

I wasn't like there was a myriad of wrong points posted here. Not everyone wants to go into the nursing office & the requirements are spelled out in the handbook, and the information from Clinton Twp was taken right from the supplement, and later the letter they sent in the mail informing us of the new information.
