Nursing acceptance letters?

They usually send them out after summer semester becuase people can still take summer classes and have those grades counted towards there grade point average. I'm in the Nursing proram at Baker-Owosso. Good luck to you.

I received a few... I was attending HFCC, I finished all my pre-req's and took the Net Test-- waited 1 semester {although they told me 1 and 1/2 year on the wait list I could only expect NOT to wait at ALL how narcissitic of me anywho, When I visited the nursing dept in the fall to demand that I-- in all my superiority be bumped onto the "official list of letters to go out because I'm sure it exists" I was highly insulted to find that my 3.973 GPA was no better than that of a mere peasants 2.5 so... I marched out and went right over to Wayne State University because who wants to be apart of a school who holds NO standards Hmph. Transferred IMMEDIATELY only to have to take a few more classes {3} before I'd be eligible to even apply for their Nursing program but WHATEVER I'd had it with the other school plus there is no waiting list as long as you took all your pre-reqs and you have a great GPA.

On the same day, I received an acceptance letter to Wayne State University undergrad program AND an acceptance letter to HFCC nursing program for winter 08. TORN I committed to both-- but in the end I walked away from HFCC to pursue my Bachelors at Wayne State. Its been a pretty wild ride and I'm still not in the program but get this: I get another letter from HFCC for fall of 08 {of course because you get to tell them no twice} so I go to orientation blah blah blahand then I'm convinced that I'm soooo going to stay at Wayne State because while its no HAVAD {boston accent} it's much more academically challenging which is what you want right? {I know I'm an ass} Anyhow I'm thinking I'll hang onto them in case I can't for some ridiculous reason get into Wayne States program {letters go out in June} I'd have a fallback. Ok so we're in the present I'm killing myself its the end of the semester, projects, and tests and research notebooks and lab practical, studying for finals etc and I get a letter from Henry Ford Health System offering me an opportunity to enter into an accelerated program beginning like next week-- tuition and books paid for in return for a 3-year work committment.So Im like OK. I think I can walk away from WSU with an offer like that so I had my interview and I got an acceptance letter soooo Im off. BTW I'm very happy about the way it all worked out. I wouldn't have changed a thing. Oh so I still already applied to WSU they're just waiting on grades from this semester 2 A's and a B so I should receive an acceptance letter sometime in June... So that would conclude how I received a few acceptance letters.

Will any of that WSU work translate into Bacehlor's degree eventually?

Thanks you guys. I don't mean to come off as a jerk-- I mean ALL of this has been a very humbling experience and I am soooo looking forward to getting started. As for the Bachelors Program it all works out because Nursing school will be paid for {considering I don't get fired once I start working} but I will need to return to WSU {or wherever if I change my mind} and because I've taken all of my pre reqs I'd go straight into the RN-BSN program where I'd go straight into the senior year of professional nursing courses taking full advantage of tuition reimbursement of course and finisher her off. And hopefully if I'm still bright eyed and bushy tailed pursue the CRNA program.

Of course, it's humor.

I am trying to get into the nursing program at Johnston Community College in North Carolina.... I have been waiting for my letter since March 1st. I am getting butterflies in my stomach, (as everyone else i, I'm sure). I have taken all my prereq's, did well on the HOBET, and have a 3.00 GPA. I feel a little uneasy about my GPA, I wish it was higher. I worked alot of hours this semester and got B's instead of A's. I pray to God everyday that I get into the program. I have never wanted anything as much as I want this. I am currently a CNA and have been cross-trained as a medical assistant. I work in an urgent care with a physican's assistant who used to be a critical care nurse. He is my mentor and I am so grateful to him for always taking the time to teach me. I learn something new everyday.
