Well put it this way, HFCC only has 6 pre-req's, where as Baker has 13! You have 5 more to go @ at least 700 bucks each, so that's at least $3500 more dollars, plus books, and when your done with those you still won't be guaranteed a spot in their Nursing program, you'll still be wondering, worried and waiting. I'm sure most of the ones you've taken at Baker will transfer to HF.
HFCC pre-req's are BIO 131 (I took SCI100E @ Baker and she said that was fine), Math (I took both Intro and Intermediate Algebra @ Baker; although I'm not sure if you need Intermediate or not in order for it to cancel out), Chemistry (I'm taking Chem 1050 @ MCC this fall, no chem class will transfer from Baker to HFCC) English 1 & 2 (both Eng 101 & 102 will transfer from Baker) Psych (I took Psych 1010 @ Macomb but I believe Psych 111 will transfer from Baker) and then the NET test. That's it....take those and then you get on the waiting list. Then there is no more worrying to do. You KNOW will be have a spot within the next 18 months. From what I've seen here, people who are getting on the list in December are starting their Nursing classes the next August.
That's just my opinion, but I think it's totally worth going to HFCC rather than wasting time taking 13 pre-req's @ Baker and still not knowing whether you'd get in or not.
There are still a couple more classes you'd have to take for the HFCC program, but they are allowed to be taken in con-junction with the Nursing program or you can take them while you are on the waiting list, waiting to get into the program.
