Med Surg II

Ok so I made to Med Surg II at WCCCD but im terribly afraid of the grading scale. With only three test there is absolutely no wiggle room. If anyone has any helpful tips or comments at all please feel free to leave them and I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

Calm down. I don't know how it works at WCCCD as I graduated from HFCC. Personally when I studied, I read some patho of each disease/disorder we were covering then focused on clinical manifestations/nursing interventions. Don't over study and when you are taking your tests, do not read into the question too much.

Ha I am in the same boat you are except at HFCC. I have to study my butt off for the 2nd test cause I have very little wiggle room from the 1st test (I passed but not as well as I had hoped!) So as of yet I have no helpful hints for you unless you can find a way to study in your sleep :-p

Remember what I said, don't overstudy, don't read to much into the question. What was on your test that had not concentrated on? Remember that these test questions are being formatted like the NCLEX.

Thats what I was expecting but they didn't seem to be NCLEX style questions. I didnt understand her answers for some of the questions and I need to follow up with her on Monday.

Good. Follow up with your instructor, that's what I was going to tell you to do.

Well if ur in MS 2 that must mean that you have Ms. E. Good luck she is super hard because some idiots (never found out who) got the answers to one of her tests and went from having a 56% on the first exam to getting a 100% on the second exam! Some people have no sense. So shes ****** now and made everything quite a bit harder. She does follow brunners instead of med-surg for her lecture and usually she covers about most of the test. I dont know if thats changed though. Do you tape record? Do you have brunners? I know alot of people are buying it, they say its easier reading. I have a pdf format of the book if you would like it. Just p me with ur email address. Good Luck!

That's pretty sad and I hope those students failed out of nursing school. Sorry but if you had to cheat on a test in nursing school just to pass than maybe being a nurse is not for you. It's too bad for the students that weren't involved because they are suffering the consequences of someone else's goof up.

Nurseegurl thanks a lot, now I know why she acts the way she does. She is very anal and talks about students cheating a lot and the tests have gotten harder. The class average on the last test was 72/74. She tossed out some questions so that brought my score to a 78.
