MCC - uniform color/style?

by jlove86

I am hoping to be accepted in the nursing program at Macomb Community College in fall of 2011. I am also planning on buying a pair of scrubs for a Halloween costume this year. Maybe this is a silly question, but what color and style does MCC require for their students? I haven't read or heard anything about it, so I'm not sure if there even are specifications, but I'd like to be able to re-use whatever I buy now, when I'm in the program. Is there a specific store/website I should look at, or do you order them through the school when you enroll? Any information would be appreciated! Thanks!

You order them from Dove online, they are pretty expensive so I am not sure I'd buy them until you need them..incase they change or you change your mind or something. If you want to look at the prices go to Doveapparel.com and the school code is MAC

Thank you
Do they have to be purchased from that website, or is it possible to find them cheaper elswhere? Do they have to be that brand?

I think the only other way to get it is to buy it from a former student used, but yeah it has to be that exact uniform as far as I know and I don't think there is any other way to get it.

Thank you so much for your help!
I think I'll just buy a really cheap pair for now to use for my costume, and I'll wait on the school-specific ones.

Some profs are currently pushing for them to allow different scrubs, so it might change in the near future. Too bad it didn't happen early enough to get me out of the current ones.

But yeah, your best bet is a cheap plain pair.

Hi. Not sure what MCC requires. I, myself, am planning on starting a program Fall 2011 either at MCC or OCC--applying to both! Anyway, there is a relatively big "Scrubs and More" store on Maple between Coolidge and Crooks in Troy (in the same plaza as Bailey's pub and Wal-mart). Hope this helps and good luck to you!
