any one who is still shoping for a stethoscope go to stethescope.com they have really really really good prices I got the Cardio III for 180 including my name engraved and in stores the cheapest I could get it was 250. And you get the class packet 2 weeks ahead of time. You go to the office to pick it up. Good luck. I too am working full time, and yes I am losing sleep but not much so YOU CAN DO IT!!!!!!!

Isn't the only required book the Med-Surge book? I think we have all the other ones already.

Ok, I'm officially broke Purchased the last of my books except "Comprehensive Handout of Lab. and Diagnostic Tests with Nursing Implications". This was not in the bookstore, nor did I find it on Amazon. Any tips? The secretary suggested I just wait until the first day of class.

I figured out how our rotations worked, just had to reread the manual

Ya all ready I've been sending warm wishes and prayers to all who are already in the program and those of us who will begin in a couple weeks.

Medical Re: MCC - Nursing Students Starting 2009
Hey all you October starts!!!!

The day is fast approaching and I am so excited. Does anyone have clinical on Wed afternoon with me? I am nervous about the workload but will have to manage it somehow. I am a mom of two under three, work as a PCT, and now in nursing school. Anyone else a working mom going to school? I work with a few nurses who have gone through MCC and said while it was hard they did it and got through. Can't wait to start, see everyone on Monday!
