LPN WAGES in MI

Hi, Can someone tell me what the lpn pay is in mi?

depends what type of facility you want to work in. lower in the hospitals (if you can even get hired), more for ltc and agency

i make 26.50 and i work subacute rehab. i'll take a pay cut when i get my RN...lol. the hospital starts RNs at 24.50.

what location are you interested in?

What hospital are you talking about? It's sure not in the Grand Rapids area. As an RN, we are started off a couple of dollars less. We have lower cost of living than the east side though and it's much nicer imo.

hi jenRN! i live in suburbs of detroit, near sterling heights. the hospitals around here start new grad RN's out at 24 an hour. my coworker with a BSN and ten years experience was only offered 25 for med surg/tele unit, 8 pts for days . yikes. she didn't take it solely because of the pt load.

i live in a nice area, but it sure is expensive and the taxes are higher. i'll be going with my friend to grand rapids tomorrow for her toefl exam!

Hi, Rehabnurse thanks for the info! I'm interested in ltc/agency in the ann arbor/ypsilanti area and also metro-detroit.
