looking for a chemistry teacher at wcccd

Could anyone recommend a good intro to chem teacher at wcccd. I start the nursing program at hfcc in May but need to take chem 105 at wcccd. I am taking a full load and really need to find a good teacher. Please post any recommendations you may have, I have to register tomorrow for the class. Thanks!

I wish I could help but Chemistry is not required for our program so I don't know how many nursing students took the class. Have you tried ratemyprofessor?

Yes, I did check that site however, not much success. I fully intended on going to wcccd for nursing but they changed the deadline for registration. If I continued with wcccd I couldn't have started the program until Jan 2010. I could wait that long, so I am switching to hfcc and they are the ones that require chemistry. Thanks anyway.

Hello innercityworker7, I heard that David Sole and Joanne Witbrot (not sure if that is the correct spelling of her last name) are really good teachers. I have not taken Chem myself, but I was going to take it this semester but it wasan't convenient. I have friends that have taken both of these professor's. I heard Joann Witbrot is the best tough but you will learn. I think she has rating at ratemyprofessor.com. check it out, Good Luck!
