Just Accepted into LCC's program!!!!!! YES!!

by Kimmi73

I just received my acceptance letter from LCC!!! I'm so excited and feel consumed with so many emotions. I can't wait to get started. I feel so fortunate to be given this opportunity. Here's to all the future and current nurses!

I was chosen to start in the Spring. However I'm planning to appeal to start in the Fall, I have all my classes completed and I've taken the majority of classes for a BSN.

Congrats on getting into LCC!!! Hopefully I will be joining you in the Spring.

How tough were Micro and NURS200 at LCC, those are the last two I need and I am taking them both while working, any advice?

Did you also get accepted for 2007-2008 or you plan to apply next Spring?

Yes I definitely have advice re: Micro and Pharm. Both were really good classes at LCC. Pharm was challenging for me. I chose to take it in person (most sections) are offered online, thinking this is a "tough subject" and would need the extra benefit of in person instruction. I ended up doing ok, however my friends who took it online for some reason all 4.0. Who knows?

For Mirco I suggest online with Prof. Greene. She is awesome and sooo caring. She really knows her stuff. There's TONS TONS TONS of info scattered on the course site and you're expected to know it all but it's worth it. You can raise your grade by extra credit opportunities.

Good Luck!

I haven't applied yet. I am going to this fall and will probably try to get into the accelerated RN program that will start in March 2008. I just double checked my schedule for this summer and fall and I do have Greene for BIOL203, and I am taking NURS200 online so I think I'm all set.

Are you starting the two year program in the fall?

Any other tips or pieces of advice you think I could use, please pass along.

Thanks!
