HFCC Winter Program

Is anyone waiting to get into their winter program? I know they only except 60 but I'm hoping that I have a fighting chance.

Don't lose hope! Although 60 are accepted (new students and those trying again), many potentials decide to wait until the fall semester. If you start the program in January, you have to go to school with short breaks in between semesters--this can lead to burn out. Some are not able to or willing to take this route and then makes another person on the waiting list happy to get their letter!

I have heard this too! Not only that, some people haven't completed all courses, failed courses, or gpa has gone below the requirement. I've been on the waitlist for a year now and hope I can get in this January. I'm no stranger to going to school all year round and at least that way I'm in the program for 1 1/2 years.
