Re: HELP! What class should I take while I wait?
I went to OCC and took pharmacology a semester before the nursing program began. I don't know if this is possible, but if you can, I suggest you do. This class is alot of memorizing and flash cards! A lot of people took it before, but those who didn't and waited until the nursing program began had to take it with another nursing class and either failed that class or had a very hard time passing it.
Or, taking classes towards your bachelor's is a really good idea too. I wish I had did this. I am starting at UofD in Jan. and I have to take speech, statistics, chemistry, art or drama course, and intermediate algebra, uugh! However some of these classes I can test out of, so before you decide to do this find out which clases you can test out of so you won't waste so much time and money. Good Luck
I have taken all my pre reqs and co reqs and in order to keep my financial aid I need to take at least 6 credit hours. I figured I would take a class towards my bachelors which is 5 credits and there a few others that seem like they would benefit me but are not required. I thought maybe one of you who have already begun the program or even finished it might have some insight for me. I can take introduction to phlebotomy, computers in health care or basic health assessment for 1 credit each.
