Has Anyone Been Accepted For HFCC Fall 08

Hey Guys I'll be going into hfcc program August 08 which is about 4 more months.
I haven't recieved a Letter yet but, i know for certain taht i'm going in, is there anyone elso going in?
Let me know so that we can chat about it.
I'm very anxious and can't wait.
Good luck to all it will be a fun journey i hear, demanding but, fun.

How do you know you are going to start if you haven't gotten a letter?

Good luck luck to you as you begin! I'm almost at the end of this thing, and I am so glad it's over. You will be taken through a whirlwind for the next two years in every phase of your life. Most of it is great! You will meet some fabulous people, both instructors and some new BFFs!

Enjoy every single moment of it.

Things to do before you start:

Watch sales now for cheap school supplies. Look for 1.5 inch binders to put your modules in for each sester.

Printer ink! Paper!!

Save as much money as you can now so you have a little pocket change when you need it.

Get fit if that is what you are interested in. It's hard to lose weight in NS.

I know one thing, to start buying printer ink and paper (lol)

Are u allowed to wear crocs to clinicals?

Easy, there wait is 1-1/12yrs. And once u complete everything to get on the waitlist u have to go to everything checked off and they will tell u right then and there when u will be going in and so for me that's fall 08.
That's the good thing with hfcc there is no guessing when you'll be in but, there is a possibility that u could enter sooner.
I got on the list May 07 and will be going in August 08
I was told to keep my schedule clear for the end of May and the beginning of June becAUSE I WILL BE IN ORIENTATION THEN

That would be a big 'no'. White athletic shoes, yes. Crocs, no.

Hey isn't it ironic that we just discussed me entering the program for fall? Guess What?
My Acceptance letter came today my orientation is April 11 and i'm soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
happy. I guess it was sooner then i was told. I was told to keep my calender open for the end of may, aand beginning of jUNE. bUT OH wELL WHEN EVER HOW EVER I KNEW FOR A FACT THAT I WOULD ENTER fALL 08 SIMPPLY BECAUSE THERE IS NO GUESSING GAME AT HFCC YOU KNOW ONCE U HAVE THE NECESSARY THINGS COMPLETED AND CHECKED OFF.

I know. So excited can't wait
My girlfriend started May 07 at henry ford hospital and we talked earlier todayon the phone and we said the same thing. She is graduating Aug, I told her boy, did that time fly.
I'm very ready and excited.
What time do clinicals start in the morning? I always thought around 8am

Ha ha. They start about 6:50 am at most clinicals, sometimes earlier depending on you have at HFCC. Some nurses on some floors don't want students at report, so they ask the instructor to have you arrive after report, which gives you another 30 min. But 8 am??? Not usually unless you have a slacker, LOL
