I waitlisted in June 2007.

Congrats Mybrowneyedgirl,

Ok but now I'm freaking out. I went on the waitlist in Dec. 07 with the thought that I'd be in the winter 09 program and if by some stroke of luck the fall 08 program. I called the nursing office and was told that fall is a LONG shot and winter is not even a guarantee. What will I do if I have to wait until next fall???????????????????????

If i don't get called for winter I think I will transfer to a bachelors program. i will not stay in school 5 years for an associates.

I am crossing my fingers for you. I keep thinking that a lot of people are probably applying to several schools, so while they are on the waitlist, they make not accept an opening at HFCC.

I hear you Tonyal! Wayne's program only starts every fall too so if chem II and micro aren't done before this fall that's not an option either

I know, I have been looking at my options tonight.

Not much that can work for me right now. I guess if it comes to that I will just keep plugging away at my BA stuff while waiting.

Thank you Tonya1. I must say I'm bummed if you two don't get in with me. I always thought we'd be together. When were you put on the wait list Tonya1?

I know Madonna University is out of my budget, but have you looked at them for a Bachelors? U of M also has a program.

I want to go for my Bachelors and masters at the same place, so i don't lose any credits by transfering to many times. And wayne state has the program i want to go into. I will probably end up just taking more classes that will count twards it like my other chemistry(god I hate chem) and math up to statistics. Oh, I was put on in Dec.07 and was told to expect winter 09.

Don't despair! Keep in mind that they have to see at the end of this semester how many people will need to take 150 or 155 over. Those people would be re-taking it in the winter time along with the people that are starting in fall, so they need to make sure they have enough room. I waitlisted December 2006. I got my letter June 2007, attended a meeting sometime in July & had orientation in August 2007. So keep your chins up- still plenty of time!
